Thanksgiving and a Cougar win

Happy belated thanksgiving! We had a great one here. The highlight was having my mom in town to spend it with us. The down side was that in an effort to fatten up my mom (which, by the way, I did... I believe she gained a whopping 2 pounds), I also managed to fatten myself up by the same amount. Oh well. I am a victim to my holiday appetite, but the food was awesome, so I say it was worth it. On a side note, my mom and I made what was quite possibly the best apple pie ever. Try not to be jealous.
The other exciting event of the weekend was the BYU-Utah game. I'm sure all of you Cougar fans are out there celebrating with me. It was a great game, a nail biter right down to the final play. For all of you Utah fans, I will just refer you to the picture of my nephew, Max.

And so happy that we won!

Happy Birthday Bryson!

Today is Bryson's 29th Birthday, and he is greiving over the sad truth that he only has one more year of his twenties left. I, however, wanted to take a minute to celebrate my husband and best friend. Without getting too mushy, I will just say that I am a lucky woman. I could not dream up a better spouse for me, and I am not suprised to see that he is also an amazing dad. I am grateful every day for finding such an amazing man that was somehow fooled into falling for me. I love you, sweetie! Happy Birthday!

Halloween 2007

I'm probably the last person in the blogging world to post my Halloween pictures, but here you go! Davis was the cutest, most serious penguin ever! He did not smile once while he had his costume on (a combination of being tired from having a hard day, and the fact that the head piece squished his face in). He also made an appearance as an escaped con from Alcatraz (Bryson brought back a cute outfit from his business trip in San Francisco, and I couldn't resist). Kobe was very popular with the neighborhood children as Super dog, and he was kind enough not to share his super abilities of loud barking, annoyance, and awe-inspiring shedding.

Family Time

We are so lucky to have Bryson's family so nearby. Not only do we get amazing babysitters while I'm at work, but we also have automatic weekend plans. We almost always do sunday family dinners, and lately we have saturday BYU games. I thought I'd share some recent pictures from our weekend rituals. Enjoy!
